Maimaima Electric Appliances optimizes lean production team construction

In order to match the steady growth of orders and the continuous development pace of new products, Wenzhou Maimaima Electric Appliances has recently completed a new round of expansion in production, quality inspection, and warehousing teams, fully implementing lean production management plans, relying on standardized personnel management and full process quality control to ensure stable product quality of razors, electric toothbrushes, and hair clippers, laying a solid foundation for the long-term development of independent brands.

Maimaima currently has a complete assembly workshop, raw material warehouse, finished product warehouse, and product exhibition hall. In the past, with the increase of e-commerce orders, there have been problems such as complex multi SKU materials and increased difficulty in process control. This year, the company is recruiting multiple quality inspectors, warehouse managers, and production supervisors with experience in protecting small household appliances. Management personnel are required to be familiar with plastic small household appliance assembly lines, ERP inventory management, and ISO basic quality systems, and implement quality control throughout the entire process of incoming materials, assembly, aging testing, and finished product delivery.

On the production end, the workshop is divided into fixed process workstations, and the razor blade head, body, motor, and charging components are assembled separately to avoid mixing errors; Quality inspection is divided into three levels of control: incoming inspection of component dimensions and materials, assembly line inspection of assembly processes, full inspection of finished products for electrical and waterproof purposes, regular recording of production issues by IPQC inspectors, and unified repair and review of defective products. Warehouse classification management is implemented online, with raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products stored in separate areas. In conjunction with ERP ledgers, traceability of inbound and outbound inventory is achieved, significantly reducing the probability of incorrect or missed shipments.

On the consumer side, home appliances consumers are increasingly valuing durability, waterproofing, and tactile feel, and extensive production is no longer able to meet the market demand. Maimaima abandons the model of blindly compressing costs and regards quality stability as its core competitiveness. Unified testing standards are implemented in the pre-sales sample and bulk production stages. IPX7 waterproof shavers have undergone flushing tests, and electric toothbrushes have completed charge and discharge durability tests. Many buyers' repurchase evaluations focus on solid workmanship and low failure rates.

In the construction of independent brands, Maimaima adheres to the "quality first" route, does not blindly expand categories, and deeply cultivates the two major tracks of men's grooming and oral care. After the team building is completed, the factory can undertake higher standard brand customization orders, adapting to the strict quality control requirements of domestic internet famous brands and cross-border boutique sellers.

The management of the enterprise revealed that the next step will be to regularly organize skill training for production and quality inspection personnel, and to introduce simple digital ledger management to gradually achieve visualization of production data; Relying on the mature small household appliance industry ecosystem in Wenzhou, we aim to leverage more long-term cooperative customers with stable quality, and enable local small and micro personal protective appliance factories in Wenzhou to achieve sustainable development of "small but refined, stable and excellent".
